Eat for the Gowanus

Thursday, August 15, 2013

Although Fifth Avenue is considered to be a hub of Park Slope, it is also located just a couple of blocks away from the polluted (but improving) Gowanus Canal.

The Gowanus Canal Conservancy will be raising money for its environmental programs through an event called "Dive in Gowanus." Participating restaurants will be donating part of their Friday Night proceeds to the Conservancy.
